Impact of clean India!

Something that is next to godliness is cleanliness and cleanliness would come to prevail when everyone commits to phase out indestructible materials such as in packaging even while phasing in alternative material or practices that do not burden the environment, and keep it largely dirt-free. It is required that important measures are taken in this regard so that the best of interests of health and hygiene are maintained. It is very disheartening to come to know of the facts and figures of the sad affair of health and hygienic issues that the people of this country face especially in the villages, even in the dawn of 21st Century where the world sees new inventions everyday and India is no less, being on the path of development having grave issues related to those of sanitation and open-defecation.
The problem of open defecation breeds so many diseases and ailments such as those of typhoid, dysentery, malaria, etc which are serious threats to life, shifts the things to worse and leads to poor health and hygiene of the individuals. These diseases which take a huge toll on human lives needs to be curbed. Despite the millions of the funds have been spent and sanctioned for the issue of open-defecation, the problem has not yet found a full-proof and concrete solution. With the increasing population, the problems are digging deeper holes with every passing day, and the hygiene maintenance seeing the falling standards.
India, the developing state, is in a supreme need of healthy, happy and hygienic nation which could possibly happen when the problem of open-defecation is solved at the grass root level and eradicated from the everywhere. The females and children are the worst affected with this problem of open-defecation. Poor hygienic conditions and deteriorating state of health affairs is largely seen to affect a huge population. Sanitation often raises questions on women dignity. How does this do justice to the addressing the issues of the female dignity and the respect they ought to have in society? This poses shameful conditions on the part of humanity of us all where we worship Goddess like Durga, Lakshmi, etc. We must not surrender to the cause, instead step ahead and fight for the problem of open-defecation that would lend better sanitation facilities.
Seeing towards other issues that arise due to open defecation are like those of bad environmental conditions where the nature is being played upon by defecating in public and doesn't find a proper and safe disposal mechanism. These serve as breeding place for insects and mosquitoes, and ultimately to deadly diseases. There must be some plans and policies where the government and other agencies could acknowledge the contribution of rag- pickers and others involved in resource recovery by facilitating their access to segregated discards at or close to source.
The voicing out is essential for promising proper resources to allow the local bodies to pay decent wages and offer better living standards and working conditions to conservancy workers and laborers. They are at the grass root level of the economy and must be given the essential commodities and requirements so that they can sustain their life. We at large need to find solutions to this problem and create awareness about the importance of proper sanitation and defecation standards. Campaigns and awareness programs for the poor people to educate them on the issues of good health and sanitation shall be one of the steps that would lead a step closer in the search of hope for a healthy, happy and hygienic India.
There must be awareness created through adequate promotion of the  decentralized composting or  better treatment plans of organic discards so that the major portion of the garbage stream is diverted from the dump- sites or landfills. This awareness would come when the best minds with the best of options and opinions come forward and lay down the plans for the welfare of the society and make their implementation seem possible and feasible. It should not merely be on papers and books, instead put to practice so that there are higher chances of the much needed progress and growth in all the spheres and arenas of the developmental areas.
How do you feel about your life right now?
Are you satisfied, happy, complacent?
What would you like to change?
I do not wish to deny the materialistic reality,
But I must strive for a better purpose, spiritually,
Cleanliness is godliness, there is more truth than proof.
The need of the hour is that the whole of India wakes up and all Indians will have to take up initiatives to wipe up the centuries-old dirt of the long prevailing system of gender discrimination, casteism and racism as part of the Swachh India campaign. The nature calls to drastically capture and curtail the consumption of unhealthy and unkempt measures that have been long dwelling. The necessity is to show and implement the power of speaking out on the issues that matter, and health, hygiene and cleanliness are the major issues need to be tackled with utmost care and attention. We merely cannot be spectators to anything that is going on and around us without paying the heed to what is important for all of us dutiful and responsible individuals.
